New Jeep Compass, more technology and connectivity
Freedom is and has always been a core value for the Jeep brand, and one especially prized at a time when circumstances have forced everyone into lockdown, to protect the common good. But thanks to the connectivity offered by new technologies, an authentic Jeep experience is possible even before jumping on board. This is one of the brand's contributions to the recovery and finds its expression in the launch on the market of the new Jeep Compass, built in Europe at the FCA plant in Melfi in Southern Italy to serve Italian and European customers.
The Jeep Compass produced at the FCA Melfi Plant is powered by a new 1.3-litre petrol engine delivering 130 hp or 150 hp, ensuring customers a smooth and comfortable driving experience, or alternatively by an updated version of the 120 hp 1.6-litre MultiJet II diesel engine with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction).
With the start of production in Italy, the Jeep brand will guarantee shorter delivery times from the factory, approximately three weeks.
