Mercedes-Benz: Restyled E-Class

The GIMS will be the presentation box for the 10th Generation E-Class.

As key model of the Mercedes-Benz range, the E-Class is the top-selling model throughout the entire history of the make. No fewer that 14 million cars have been sold since 1946, across 9 generations of models.
The tenth version in fact represents a pretty fundamental restyling of the W213 Type launched in 2016.

As you can guess through the camouflage, the essence of the stylistic innovations lies in the head lamps and tail lights that adopt the lines already launched on the A-Class and CLS, amongst others. The new more angular design of the front gives the E-Class a more aggressive look.

The hybrid at all levels

Technological showcase of the make, the new E-Class features the very best and most recent technology that Mercedes-Benz has to offer. It also comes with the latest “Mbux” multimedia system with highly sophisticated voice recognition. It will be fitted with increasingly advanced driving aids and the interaction with the instruments will be just as revolutionary, thanks to movement recognition.

In time, no fewer than 7 plug-in hybrid versions will be announced, including estates and variations with 4Matic all-wheel drive. Mild hybrids with a 48 volt power system will also be in the line-up, particularly on the recent six-cylinder in-line models.
