General conditions of the prize draw game at the Geneva International Motor Show.
1 Organising Company/Foundation
1.1 The foundation Standing Committee of the International Motor Show, for which the head office is at Route François-Peyrot 30, 1218 Le Grand-Saconnex, Switzerland, with the assistance of the company Details SA, for which the head office is at Chemin du Pré-Fleuri 3, 1228 Plan-les-Ouates, Switzerland (hereafter the "Organisers"), are organising a free prize draw game without purchase obligation entitled "Win entry tickets to the 2019 Motor Show" (hereafter the "Game"), which will take place on 1st February to 15 March 2019 inclusive.
2 Conditions for participation
2.1 This Game is open to any major natural person aged over 18 (on the date of participation in the Game), subject to point 2.4 below.
2.2 The Organisers reserve the right to make all checks necessary concerning the identity, postal and/or email address of participants.
2.3 Only one participation per person per day will be accepted. Also, a participant can only win once per day.
2.4 The following are excluded from any participation in the present Game and the benefit of any award, directly or indirectly: all personnel of the organising company and foundation, respectively Palexpo SA and its partners, including their families and spouses (marriage, partnership or equivalent or cohabitation, whether recognised or not) or any person having participated directly or indirectly in the design, organisation, implementation and/or management of the Game.
2.5 Any persons who have not provided their details and complete identity or who have provided them inaccurately or misleadingly, will have their participation in the Game cancelled without the express communication of the Organisers, as will any person refusing the collection, recording and use of nominative information concerning them and strictly necessary for the requirements of managing the Game.
2.6 Participation in the Game implies, for all participants, the full and unreserved acceptance of the present regulations and the regulations of the show. Non-compliance with the said regulations will entail the automatic cancellation of participation and any allocation of gratuities, without express communication from the Organisers.
3 Conduct of the Game
3.1 To take part in the Game, the participant must:
Go to the Internet page of the Motor Show: https://www.gims.swiss;
Give his/her personal information;
Accept the present general conditions and comply with them.
3.2 The winners will be drawn from all participants who have agreed to give their personal information and who have accepted the present regulations. The prize draw will be done electronically and randomly.
3.3 The winners of the Game will be informed by email.
3.4 The lots will be as follows:
Two entry tickets to the 2019 International Motor Show.
3.5 The lots may not be exchanged and the value may under no circumstances be converted to cash.
3.6 No correspondence other than that mentioned in point 3.3 above will be exchanged on the subject of this operation.
Any legal recourse is excluded.
4.1 Any fraud or attempted fraud, use of robots or any similar technique enabling the Game to be played mechanically and/or increasing the chances of winning by any means is prohibited.
4.2 The Organisers may therefore definitively cancel participation by one or more participants in case of suspect behaviour, notably consisting of an unusual rate of winnings, attempts to force the Organiser's servers, more than one account, etc. In such cases they may decide not to assign winnings to the participants concerned, with regard to the information in their possession, and/or take proceedings against the perpetrators of such fraud before the competent jurisdictions. Any cancellation will occur without express communication from the Organisers.
4.3 The Organisers may also cancel all or part of the Game if it appears that fraud has occurred in any form whatsoever, notably in a computerised manner in the context of participation in the Game and/or the determination of the winners. In case of penalties or complaints, the participants must provide proof that they have behaved in accordance with the present regulations. The liability of the Organisers may not be implicated in this regard. Any cancellation will occur without express communication from the Organisers.
5 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
5.1 The relationships between the Organisers and participants are subject exclusively to Swiss law.
5.2 Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive competence of the general legal tribunals of the Canton of Geneva.
